Cart Leasing Options
Duration: Carts are available for lease from as short as 1 week to as long as 1 year.
Minimum Commitment: The minimum rental is a 1-week commitment, and occasionally 3-day rentals may be available depending on the time of year and availability.
What's Included in my Rental?
Cart Wheels provides the cart, your physical space in the mall, electricity, lights, secure tarping system, and handles all repairs to the base unit — all included in your rental payment.
At Cart Wheels, we offer a unique opportunity for small business owners to lease carts in various malls. Here's what you need to know about our programs:
Requirements
Business Registration: Vendors must have a registered business and provide proof, such as a Business License or Articles of Incorporation.
HST Registration: Vendors must be registered for HST and provide an HST number.
Legal Agreement: Vendors are required to sign a Short-Term License Agreement, which is binding for the agreed-upon time period.
Rental Details
Rates: Rental rates vary based on factors like mall, time of year, duration, and location. Rates are quoted weekly, and there may be increases during certain periods.
Christmas Season: During November and December, the minimum term is 6 weeks, and shorter rentals are rarely available.
Product Approval and Restrictions
All products sold must be approved in writing by Mall Management.
Products must have a thematic connection, and the sale of counterfeit designer or branded merchandise is strictly prohibited.
Food Preparation and Display
Preparation of food is not allowed due to health code regulations.
Only prepackaged foods prepared in a Government Approved Kitchen can be sold.
POS equipment, merchandising props, and product displays are at the vendor's expense.

Rent is the greater of Base Weekly Rent or 15% of gross sales.
Insurance and Payments
Vendors must have Commercial Liability Insurance of $5,000,000.00.
First and last week's rent is due at the time of signing.
Rental payments are due on the first day of each week.
